TEDxYDL 2018
Thursday, September 27, 7-9pm
Riverside Arts Center
76 N. Huron Street
Ypsilanti, MI 48197
This year’s theme is “Mobility.” It reflects where our region has been and where it’s going–from building the first cars to pioneering autonomous vehicles, from fomenting early movements for racial equality to leading the way in LGBT rights, and from confronting hardship to finding ways to move our work and our lives forward.
Speakers
11 excellent local speakers will give 10 talks that relate–in varied ways–to our theme. Yodit Mesfin Johnson will act as our emcee, tying their stories together and helping us understand what they mean for our region.
Tickets
Advance-seating tickets will be available in early September. Only 100 seats are available in the auditorium, per our TEDx licensing rules. A simultaneous live stream of the event will be held on site for those who are unable to get into the theater, and all attendees and speakers will be invited to a reception immediately following the event.
